Modern Warfare 2 facing potential recall in Russia

Earlier today, IGN found info regarding a potential recall of Modern Warfare 2 in Russia. According to a translation (via Hellforge) of an article from a Russian gaming site (via GotPS3.ru), the controversial "No Russian" level has raised the ire of Russian politicians, causing all console copies to be recalled, with a new version set to release within a month.

According to a translation (via Hellforge) of an article from a Russian gaming site (via GotPS3.ru), the controversial "No Russian" level has raised the ire of Russian politicians, causing all console copies to be recalled, with a new version set to release within a month.

The story also states that a patch for the PC version of the game will remove the offending level from the Russian version of Modern Warfare 2. We've sent a question to Infinity Ward about the authenticity of the recall.
