Apple on Tuesday released its fourth beta of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.4, with the build number 12E36.

The update, which comes little more than a week after the third beta build of the upcoming maintenance update was seeded to developers by Apple, has no known issues.

As with the previous builds of OS X 10.8.4, Apple has asked developers to focus their testing on WiFi, Graphics Drivers and Safari.

When Apple released the second beta build of the update earlier this month, a reference to the new, as yet ungratified high-speed 802.11ac '5G' WiFi standard was spotted.

The first beta of OS X 10.8.4 arrived in on 1 April, two weeks after the final version of the OS X 10.8.3 update was released. Apple's OS X 10.8.3 update saw 14 beta builds seeded to developers before being released to the public, and brought Safari 6.0.3, Boot Camp improvements and audio fixes to Macs running Mountain Lion.

Apple has announced the dates of its WWDC 2013, which the company says will give developers an in-depth look at the future of the OS X, suggesting we'll get our first glimpse of OS X 10.9 during the event.

Developers can access the new OS X 10.8.4 build through the software update tool in the Mac App Store.
