Nexus 7: This Is Google's New Nexus Tablet (Gizmodo Australia)

Gizmodo Australia claims to have unearthed training documents that lay out the full specs for Google's forthcoming Android tablet, the Nexus. Here in the U.S., we expect a similar-looking device, only held upside down.

Google Maps on iOS (Google+)

Speaking of the Goog, the company's senior vice president of commerce & local, Jeff Huber, recently commented on Google+ that Mountain View is looking forward to "providing amazing Google Maps experiences on iOS." Now introducing ... Google Maps Middle Earth for iOS!

Apple To Feature Yelp Check-Ins Within IPhone Maps App (Bloomberg)

While we're on the topic of Maps, Bloomberg says iOS 6 will allow users to check in at their current location via Yelp. This will integrate with Apple's new social network, Pshaw, which allows you to ridicule your friends for the locations they've checked in at.

Getting your Google Mac news (Google Mac Blog)

On a bittersweet note, Google is shutting down its official Mac blog, instead encouraging readers to visit individual project blogs for relevant Mac news. The rationale behind the switch? iOS and Mac support has now become "so mainstream." That's it, people! Shut it all down! Apple is dooooooomed!
