A next generation iPhone prototype has been spotted server logs, it has been reported.
TechCrunch reports that a "reliable source" has captured a screen grab showing the prototype model iPhone5,2 in their server logs, although no further information about the single session that the prototype was involved in.
This report follows previous leaks that suggest Apple will launch its new iPhone, dubbed iPhone 5, at a special event on 12 September.
It is expected that the iPhone 5 will be taller, with a larger display and thinner profile, and could have a metal back and smaller dock connector.
