More noise than crowd for iPhone 5 outside Apple Hong Kong store

Available in Hong Kong today, iPhone 5 brings a crowd--though much smaller compared to that for the previous iPhone version --gathering at its flagship store at the IFC mall.

There were more Apple staffers and journalists than iPhone 5 buyers outside the store as we could see this morning.

Instead of waiting in line for hours or even days outside the store, now buyers go to the Apple store to pick up their phones at assigned timeslots, thanks to the company's pre-order arrangement.

Each customer is escorted into the store, welcomed with loud applaud and cheered by Apple Store staff.

Besides the Apple Store, fans can also get the latest iPhone 5 from local carriers including 3, CSL, and Smartone.
