Apple on Monday bumped up the specs of its MacBook Pro laptop line, while maintaining the same price points. The internal upgrade adds faster processors, more storage and improved graphics power for all three models in the line.

The entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro now runs on a 2.4Ghz dual-core Intel i5 processor, with 4GB or RAM and a 500GB hard drive, coming in at $1200. The stock 15-inch and 17-inch models now feature 2.4GHz quad-core i7 chips, with 4GB of RAM and 750GB hard drives.

The graphics were also updated across the board. The base 15-inch model comes with AMD Radeon HD 6750M with 512MB RAM at $1,799, or you can go for the AMD Radeon HD 6770M with 1GB RAM and the faster 2.4GHZ processor at $2200. The 17-inch model also uses the AMD 6770M with 1GB of RAM, starting at $2500.

As noted by This Is My Next, Apple did not include Bluetooth 4.0 technology in the MacBook Pros, like it did earlier this year with the MacBook Airs and Mac Minis, and most recently with the iPhone 4S. Bluetooth 4.0 promises to use less power than 2.1 (currently in the MacBook Pro line), while increasing the range of the radio.

There are no exterior changes in the refreshed MacBook Pro line. The 13 and 15-inch models remain 0.95-inch thick, while the 17-inch model is slightly thicker at 0.98-inch. Apple estimates the battery life on the MacBook Pro line is around 7 hours, and each model comes with a Thunderbolt port that supports data transfers of up to 10Gbps. All models of the refreshed MacBook Pro line are available now from Apple online.
