Array Networks announced the launch of the Array SPX800 Universal Access Controller (UAC), a remote access solution for SMBs. With the SPX800 appliance, SMBs can benefit from a range of SSL VPN and remote desktop access functionality without constraints in time, effort, budget, or security, claimed the company.

The SPX800 appliance provides the option of connecting to internal resources from remote locations and SSL VPN, said the company. According to the company, this will enable the SMB to have a solution for remote access and reduce the number of computers they need to purchase.

"Remote access for SMBs has been an afterthought for enterprise-class SSL VPN vendors," said Michael Zhao, President and CEO, Array Networks. "Accordingly, SMBs have had to settle for limited functionality or poor experience. With the SPX800, SMBs now have a remote access solution that serves their needs in a single appliance," he added.

Setup time takes 30 minutes, said company and comes with the Array Pilot, which is a user interface with device configuration workflows.

The Array SPX800 UAC is available immediately with two options: 25 concurrent users and 50 concurrent users, said the company.
